This article explains how learners interact with a quiz page, including how to view passing criteria, complete questions, submit answers, review results, and retake the quiz when needed.
Viewing passing criteria
Learners see a banner at the top of the quiz page that shows:
- The percentage required to pass
- The number of correct answers required
If no passing criteria are set, the banner shows “No passing criteria”.
Completing a quiz
To complete a quiz:
- Review the passing criteria banner
- Answer all questions on the quiz page
- Review your answers before submitting
Learners must answer all questions before they can submit.
Submitting a quiz
To submit a quiz:
- Scroll to the bottom of the quiz page
- Click “Submit”
After submitting, learners cannot edit their answers unless they retake the quiz.
Viewing results
After submitting the quiz, learners see:
- Score (percentage): Shows the percentage of correct answers
- Total correct answers: Shows the number of correct answers
- Pass or fail status
Passing the quiz unlocks the “Next” button in the learning journey.
Retaking a quiz
Learners can retake a quiz as many times as needed.
To retake a quiz:
- Click “Retake”
- Confirm the retake action in the modal
- Complete the quiz again
- Click “Submit”
Each retake resets the quiz and generates a new attempt.
