Introduction
As an admin, you might need to resend a welcome email to users whose invitations have expired. This guide will walk you through the steps to reinvite a user to the Collegial platform.
Reinviting a user
- Log in to the Collegial platform
- Navigate to the admin pages by clicking the hamburger menu at the top of the page and select “Admin”
- Click on "People" in the navigation bar
- Click the "INVITE" button
- A popup windwow will open. Enter the email address of the user you want to reinvite
- Click "SEND INVITE". The user will receive a new welcome email
When you should send a new invitation
- When user status is "Incomplete":
- send a new invitation, and the user will receive a new welcome email
- send a new invitation, and the user will receive a new welcome email
When sending a new invitation won’t work
- User status is "Registered":
- If the user's status is registered, they do not need a new invitation. They should log in using their existing credentials
- If the user's status is registered, they do not need a new invitation. They should log in using their existing credentials
- User status is "Deactivated":
- If the user's status is deactivated, you will need to set the user status to registered, so that they can log in using their existing credentials
- If the account management process for your company is handled automatically, do not manually change the status. If you are unsure, contact support@collegial.com for guidance
Additional considerations
- Single Sign-On (SSO):
- If your company uses SSO for sign-up, users should use the SSO login instead
